Not only have we long appreciated his So What show on KUVO (89.3 FM) for years (he spins  the tastiest Acid Jazz, and Soul-Funk-House in the nation) but we're now to understand that DJ K-Nee makes great videos on his iPhone?! That's right. Local musicians can be very grateful for a charming and talented man named Goat who meticulously compiles stats about local music played state-wide, blogs astutely about picks and pans from local releases each month, and synthesizes a ton of data in a user-friendly format on his blog. He also spins his own show and is an all-around-amazing-guy-on-the-scene...We were honored to have him review Love Letters and to also find out we posted #15 in Top 40 spins for local music throughout the state in November. The Love Royale features Heather & Matt Larrabee and Kyle Jones (producer of Denver breakout band, the Flobots – Universal). Delivering electric soul with top notes of jazz, R&B, pop, and indie-rock, the band has enjoyed residencies in Denver and Los Angeles clubs. Their music is sexy, soulful, rocking, funky.


Featured soloists include Tony Morales, Dave Petry and Daren Hahn (Ani DiFranco) on drums and the inimitable Jon Wirtz on keys who can be heard performing nationally with Matt Morris (Interscope), and Angie Stevens.


The Love Royale also features the potent stylings of Denver’s underground poet laureate, Lady Speech, a mainstay in the city’s poetry and cultural arts scenes.

A Love Royale Christmas

Every year members of the band look forward to playing a Christmas show with our favorite holiday tunes. We're thrilled to be playing this year's show in the beautiful lounge of India's Pearl. What could be better than a deep glass of red wine, live holiday music played in an intimate setting, and the chance to settle up next to a real fireplace with the one you love?
